Waste Heat Recovery
Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) is the process of recovering heat discharged as a byproduct of one process to provide heat needed by a second process*. So it is the capture and the use of energy contained in fluids or gases that would otherwise be lost to a facility.
To understand how our
waste heat recovery system works, it is important to understand air balance and how it relates to your building. Almost all sites operate within a negative building
air balance. This means that during the winter heating season, the outside cold air is being “asked” to infiltrate the building causing the heating system of your facility to work much harder and consume more energy to warm that new cold permeating air.
The AMSEnergy Waste Heat Recovery system works with that
principle.
AMSEnergy's Waste Heat Recovery System can help you recover that wasted heat to reduce your energy use and help you save!
