With our Waste Heat Recovery Systems you can get results you can see!  AMSEnergy has designed a controls package which includes our Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and a Human Machine Interface (HMI) which calculates and displays the cost savings for your waste heat recovery project in both BTU's and dollars. 

In addition, our HMI will display the temperatures in/out both on the hot and cold side of the heat exchanger along with their respective flows through the system.  This information, combined with the plants fuel costs which can be entered dynamically, we are able to demonstrate MMbtu’s being utilized back to the site along with the cost savings associated.

From that, we also display and quantify the savings of the current month and current calendar year. And for information overload, in separate views, also programmed are screenshots to compare the previous 12 months cost avoidance and MMbtu's saved along with the totals of the previous year.

Many other easily navigable screens are available for trending and historical illustrations which can be useful for maintenance and general facility information.

This can be very beneficial when reviewing utility statements or evaluating the sites ROI for the system. This can also be very helpful to a plant engineer needing to justify or to provide visible proof or documentation to a financial executive, or to a plant manager that an energy project is saving their site money.  Dollars that would normally be going out a stack somewhere are now being recouped back into the site and substantially reducing costs.
