Energy Assessment

AMSEnergy uncovers waste energy through a comprehensive energy assessment that includes a complete analysis of a facility’s energy consumption.

Assessments are typically performed in the following areas: demand control, boiler and furnace efficiencies, HVAC loads, compressed air optimization, process heat loads, heat recovery, lighting optimization, shutdown optimization, motors and motor drives, power factor correction and water/sewer efficiencies. Other areas that have an influence on energy use that also will be evaluated include controls, operations and maintenance and a very significant aspect in every organization: employee awareness.

From this assessment, we can make recommendations for suggested improvements to manage their energy costs.
Industries We Serve
AMSEnergy provides energy assessments or related services to clients in the following sectors:
  • Automotive
  • Printing

Experience has shown that a site energy assessment can typically result in a savings of AT LEAST ten percent (10%) of your normal energy spend.  For many sites, this can be a significant amount of dollars.  We live under the adage that “the best dollar saved, is one not spent".

Not to be overlooked should also be an investigation into practices as to how processes or equipment are cared for. Much of the emphasis is placed on opportunities that have the simple payback period of two years or less. However, in many cases, we can explore areas where the Return On Investment (ROI) may be longer but perhaps can add a significant impact to your company.

AMSEnergy has helped many companies all across North America to realize this waste and implement processes as part of their proactive efforts to get control of this drain on their bottom line.
